Spring is in the air!

Spring is a time of growth and new beginnings. This year it is also a new beginning for the ForestValue network as the second phase of ForestValue has just started.
|
This CSA project started on the 1st of January 2023 and is a continuation of the ForestValue ERA-Net Cofund project that ended in 2022. Although ForestValue2 was launched recently, it is already at an advanced stage of implementation. The first transnational call for funding of the R&I research projects in the forest-based sector is under preparation. Further updates on this call will be available in the next newsletter.

Monograph publication on the impact of EU collaboration in the forest-based sector is now published
ForestValue network has announced the completion of the Monograph publication, ‘From wood wisdom to wood values and beyond’, outlining the impact of EU collaboration in the forest-based sector. It provides an overview of the impact of EU collaboration in the forest-based sector, in the framework of the ERA-Net projects that have taken place over the past two decades under the EU Framework Programmes for Research and Innovation funding.

ForestValue2 pre-announcement of a Joint Call for Research Proposals in 2023

The ForestValue2 Research Programme announces the upcoming call for joint European research projects with an indicative total public funding of €7 million. Projects are due to start in the first half of 2024.

The indicative call opening is the 2nd of May 2023.
