As part of the Horizon Results Booster service, ForestValue2 had the opportunity to participate in the Coaching for Public Speaking webinar. Francesca Natali shared her experience and practical knowledge on how to communicate project results effectively to investors and other key stakeholders.
The session focused on the essentials of a successful pitch: attracting attention, understanding your audience and their expectations, and presenting your key message in a clear and compelling way. Participants explored how to structure and improve a pitch deck, tailor presentations to specific audiences, and strengthen their public speaking and delivery skills.
Participants from ForestValue2 and four funded projects actively engaged in the session, sharing experiences and taking the opportunity to learn new tips and tricks for developing and delivering more effective pitches.
The training highlighted that effective speaking is an important part of valorising project knowledge. By distilling complex information into a concise and engaging story, researchers can better connect with investors, business partners, clients and policymakers.
