The FOREST Partnership invites the forest research and innovation community to participate in Forest Momentum: From Strategy to Action, taking place on 29–30 September 2026 in Brussels, Belgium.
Organised by EUFORE, MoniFun and the FOREST Partnership, the two-day event will bring together researchers, policymakers, practitioners and other stakeholders to discuss the future of European forest research, monitoring, innovation and policy.
On 29 September, the MoniFun Joint Monitoring Workshop will explore the future of European forest monitoring, addressing knowledge gaps, research and innovation needs, as well as governance and funding approaches. The FOREST Partnership will contribute to discussions on its additional activities related to forest monitoring.
On 30 September, the Final EUFORE Stakeholder Event will focus on strategic priorities for forest research and innovation, future funding opportunities and policy development. The FOREST Partnership will present its activities and upcoming opportunities, while also supporting the Forest Partnering: Meet & Connect networking session, designed to foster new collaborations and consortium building ahead of the first joint call for proposals.
Registration is open until 7 September 2026, subject to availability.
